Honeywrap Reusable Sandwich Wrap - Single. MOANA.
Get rid of plastic wrap forever! These natural reusable food wraps are handmade in NZ from 100% organic cotton blended with beeswax, tree resin and jojoba oil. This perfect combination makes the cloth tacky so it can be shaped over food and around dishes. It keeps sandwiches fresh for longer, and - because they can be used over and over - they're great for the planet! Also great for covering cheese, leftovers, little snacks, that half eaten banana...
Each wrap measures 27cm x 29cm.
How to Use:
Use the warmth of your hands to shape your Honeywrap. When stored in the fridge, the beeswax will harden further, retaining the shape and sealing in the goodness. Wash with cold water and a mild soap. Honeywraps don't like heat so avoid dishwashers, microwaves and ovens. Do not use for covering raw meat. Your Honeywrap will last up to one year if you care for it properly.
SPECIAL EDITION PROJECT JONAH:
Honeywrap has teamed up again with this amazing charity to create a very special humpback whale print. For every Project Jonah Honeywrap purchased, Honeywrap donates 100% of the profit towards helping this awesome rescue charity to continue protecting our marine mammals.
Project Jonah is a marine mammal welfare charity, working hard to protect the beautiful whales and dolphins inhabiting NZ waters. These marine mammals face many threats, some natural and others man-made. These include: entanglement in fishing nets, overfishing, ship strike and pollution. Project Jonah works to educate and inform schools and communities across the country of the impacts we can have on these creatures, and the things we can do to help protect them. What’s more, with New Zealand having one of the highest stranding rates for whales and dolphins in the world (with an average of 300 animals stranding per year), Project Jonah travels the length of the country to help these stranded animals in need. You can find out more about them here.
